M3X Media App Creates iPhone Multimedia Platform

West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) April 12, 2010

M3X Media, Inc. (, a digital entertainment, multimedia technology and services company, today announced the availability of a free Web-based application that transforms the popular Apple* iPhone mobile phone into a multimedia entertainment platform, unchained from Apple’s iTunes online music store.

This breakthrough coincides with the launch of the limited public beta test of GrËvMe, the first mobile service that brings together the most popular forms of digital entertainment onto one platform, regardless of device type or service provider. iPhone users can get this capability from the iPhone-optimized site

M3X Media’s optimized site for the iPhone and the new GrËvMe service represent well-deserved freedom of choice for all consumers of digital entertainment,” said Jim Devericks, M3X Media’s chairman and CEO. Until now, Apple and the service providers have called the shots as to what consumers can view and listen to on their wireless devices and how much they pay for it.”

The new GrËvMe service puts in consumers’ hands a music, video and gaming experience as well as a social networking service. It offers an ever-expanding library with millions of songs, thousands of videos and hundreds of games. In addition, full-length motion pictures as well as top cable TV programming will be available through the GrËvMe service for viewing on an iPhone once the limited public beta is completed.

The GrËvMe limited public beta is being conducted for two reasons: 1) to make certain all aspects of the service perform as expected; and, 2) consumers have the opportunity to offer suggestions to make the service as much to their liking as possible.

Consumers can opt for an all-you-can-eat monthly subscription of $ 9.95 for the core service of music, videos and games. Content can also be purchased. For example, all music titles are 99 cents each; videos and games will also be available for purchase. The pricing for the movies and TV content will be finalized soon.

Beyond providing anytime, anywhere digital entertainment, the GrüvMe service is extremely flexible when it comes to device compatibility. “GrËvMe is device and wireless carrier agnostic. We wouldn’t dictate to any consumer which phone, smartphone or PDA s/he uses to enjoy our service,” Devericks said. “As long as the device meets the basic technical specifications, it can become a GrËvMe entertainment platform. Along with mobile devices, like the Apple iPhone, the GrËvMe service will operate on PC- or Mac-based computers, iPods and other MP3 players and PS3 or Wii consoles.

M3X Media is working with Level 3 Communications, a leader in fiber-based communications services, to provide the nationwide content delivery network for the GrËvMe service. It owns Destroy Entertainment, a top producer of interactive games, assuring the GrËvMe service has exclusive gaming content. In addition, M3X Media holds numerous patents or pending patents associated with intellectual property utilized in the GrËvMe service.

Panvidea’s Doug Heise to Speak at P2P and Cloud Media Summit at Digital Hollywood Spring

New York, NY (PRWEB) April 30, 2010

Panvidea, a global leader in the on-demand preparation, processing and distribution of entertainment and advertising content, has revealed that it’s VP of Marketing, Doug Heise, will be serving as a panellist at the P2P and Cloud Media Summit at Digital Hollywood Spring in Santa Monica.

The Next Generation P2P & Cloud Panel will focus on the prospects for “content in the cloud,” in the spheres of music, television and film, and will present practical applications and rationales for the use of P2P and cloud computing software in the online content marketplace.

Many distributed computing solutions are on the way, from live streaming to HD content downloading, with associated business models ranging from ad-supported, to subscription, to paid download. Panvidea provides video content owners with an instantly scalable software solution that allows them to automate the video processing, preparation and encoding process, removing any headaches associated with overhead costs and in-house video encoding and delivery resources.

Doug Heise of Panvidea said: “The P2P and Cloud Media Summit at Digital Hollywood is a tremendous opportunity for us to discuss the clear merits of cloud vs. installed software solutions, and to showcase the many ways that Panvidea can enable content owners to maximize the output and digital distribution of their content without having to worry about the overhead costs of software investments and the need to fund in-house teams of video preparation professionals.

“The event should serve to raise our profile in the music, television and film content industries, highlighting the benefits to content owners and helping them to understand that cloud computing is a significantly superior method of preparing and delivering their content .”

Panvidea protects content owners from the need to continually manage hardware, software and personnel resources by outsourcing the entire process, providing SLAs and ensuring the service is continually available on-demand.

Originally branded mPOINT, which was founded in November 2007, the company rebranded to become Panvidea in March 2010, with co-founder Chris Cali as CEO.

NOISEVOX Launches The Future of Music Media

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 10, 2010

This month, Noisevox launched its groundbreaking music media site,, combining citizen journalism and exclusive HD video programming in a social networking atmosphere.

As a music portal for bands, journalists and photographers, Noisevox is a unique newcomer to the market in the way it collects, organizes and publishes its content.

“ aims to become a global destination for music news, reviews and discovery. It pits schooled, professional music critics against hip, savvy citizen journalists; the music is at the center,” says founder David Navarrete.

By employing a traditional media masthead-model and awarding journalists “points” for contributing content, writers advance in ranking and title. Press credentials, tickets to shows, artist interviews and free music are just some of the perks that come with being at the top of a magazine’s masthead. Photographers are also encouraged to participate in a similar creation and reward process. Artists have the ability to upload music and promote themselves within the community.

Close to the site’s heart is the return of music video programming to screens. Noisevox’s video channel, NVTV, run by music television veteran John Norris, features exclusive interviews with Lady Gaga, Broken Social Scene, Vampire Weekend and Arctic Monkeys. Norris, who oversees NVTV, said, “The abandonment of music news coverage and music programming by video outlets large and small is at this point the stuff of pop legend. Nothing could make me happier than playing a significant role in its return.” Another NVTV series, Face Time, recently premiered and more programming is planned for 2010.

NV Radio is Noisevox’s internet radio operation. While programmed commercial- and host-free at the moment by the site’s staff, Noisevox encourages users to submit playlists of their own, which the radio station will feature on a weekly and eventually a nightly basis.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) June 21, 2010

AOL is getting into the FIGHT! business.

FIGHT! Media, publisher of the most popular mixed martial arts publication in the United States, has quickly established itself as a leading innovator in online MMA video content through its popular YouTube channel (

Beginning this month, a selection of FIGHT!’s videos, will begin airing on, a division of FanHouse, AOL’s hugely successful online sports franchise.

FIGHT!’s YouTube channel launched last spring, and has since produced over 250 original videos, which have racked up well over 2 million views. FIGHT’s! content includes pre- and post- fight footage and interviews, lifestyle clips, and its flagship series, “FIGHT! Life,” a monthly, broadcast-quality HD documentary series featuring the best fighters and biggest personalities in MMA, including Anderson Silva, Urijah Faber, Frank Mir, the Diaz Brothers, Bas Rutten, and many others. After debuting last November, the videos are now regularly linked to by numerous MMA blogs and Web sites, including the much-read Cage Potato (, which praised FIGHT! as “striking gold” with the series.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of FIGHT! Magazine, as well as its FIGHT! Life series and other videos, and I think this will be great for both organizations,” said Bryan Tucker, the managing editor of

“We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to expand the FIGHT! brand and increase our online footprint with the help of AOL,” said Craig. “We are extremely grateful for the rapid success of FIGHT! Magazine, and now this deal will help us show everyone how much we’ve developed as a media company. Just like it is with the magazine, our goal is to provide world class content that appeals both to longtime MMA enthusiasts as well as the casual fan. This project with AOL will raise the bar in terms of what fans expect from online video and we couldn’t be happier to have such a great partner. ”

Craig went on to credit Neal Taflinger and Matthew Ross, head of FIGHT!’s internet and video divisions, respectively. Taflinger, an experienced print journalist, has overseen a complete overhaul of FIGHT!’s website and web operations, including its YouTube channel. Ross, a filmmaker and a journalist, has produced and directed the well-reviewed series “FIGHT! Life” in addition to overseeing the company’s entire video division, which produces 20-40 original clips each month.

FIGHT!, a division of Bluff Media, was launched in 2007. Under the guidance of Craig, the company’s founding editor-in-chief FIGHT! is the now the U.S. market leader in the world of mixed martial arts publishing and has twice been voted “Best MMA Magazine” by industry by The Underground, the most popular MMA message board forum on the Internet.

In October 2008, FIGHT! expanded its operations with the creation of FIGHT! Media, a vertically-integrated multimedia outfit, and appointed Craig as president. Recent developments include an aggressive Internet strategy, a new video division, as well as a number of radio, TV, and film projects currently in development that will be announced later this year.

FanHouse is one of the top sports destinations on the Web,, FanHouse’s MMA vertical channel, has quickly established itself as one of the premier MMA websites. is comprised of a star-studded team of Ariel Helwani, Mike Chiappetta, Ben Fowlkes, Michael David Smith and others. Its videos have already become a formidable presence in the online martial arts community thanks to their expansive video coverage of notable MMA events. Given that FIGHT! also has its own event coverage videos, FanHouse will most likely focus on broadcasting (and rebroadcasting) “FIGHT! Life” and FIGHT!’s MMA lifestyle clips as well as a large library of MMA technique and fitness videos that will be unveiled this summer on AOL FanHouse.

FIGHT! has also begun production on a new gym profile series, “FIGHT! School”, which is being produced in conjunction with AOL subsidiary StudioNow, an online-video production company that specializes in providing media outlets with production support and local crews for shoots anywhere in the U.S. The first episode of “FIGHT School” will debut on FanHouse and YouTube later this month.
