Tenma, a brilliant neurosurgeon with a promising future, risks his career to save the life of a critically wounded young boy named Johan. When the boy, now a coldhearted and charismatic young man, reappears nine years later in the midst of a string of unusual serial murders, Tenma must go on the run from the police, who suspect him to be the killer, to find Johan and stop the monster he set loose upon the world. NAC Image Technology Receives Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for their High Speed Camera Systems Enabling HD Super Slow Motion Capture, Recording and Playback

Simi Valley, California (PRWEB) December 7, 2010

NAC Image Technology Inc. is honored to be selected to receive an Emmy award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the 2009/2010 Technical Engineering Awards. The Emmy is awarded for work in “HD Super Slow Motion Systems for acquisition, recording, and playback in Broadcast, Entertainment and Sports Productions.” The award is in recognition of NAC’s innovations in sports broadcasting and further acknowledges leadership position of NAC Image Technology Inc. in the development of super slow motion digital camera systems.

“We are extremely happy to be honored with this award,” said Mr. Kenichi Ueki, President of NAC Image Technology Inc. “NAC has a long history working with super slow motion camera systems, also known as high speed cameras. They’ve played an integral role in NAC’s 50+ years of success in the entertainment industry. We’ve been fortunate to be able work with strong partners like NHK, ARRI Media, and Fletcher Chicago. With their help, NAC’s high speed camera systems have been embraced by broadcasters for live coverage of the World Cup events in Germany and South Africa, the Olympic Games in Beijing and Vancouver, and a variety of prominent professional sporting events.”

“The Memrecam Hi-Motion is the camera that embodies the NAC award-winning technology,” Mr. Ueki added. “This camera was developed in cooperation with NHK and is the first high speed broadcast camera in the world with real HD quality based upon 3-chip technology. Designed specifically for sports broadcasting, the Hi-Motion fits seamlessly into the workflow of sports broadcast environments, requiring no additional operators.”

About NAC Image Technology

NAC Image Technology is committed to advancing the technology for HD Super Slow Motion Systems for use in Broadcast, Entertainment, and Sports Productions. Benefiting from its experience with the Memrecam Hi-Motion, NAC will make use of its know-how by taking the next step in the evolution of this technology. NAC’s high speed camera technology is capable of capturing hundreds of thousands of images per second, but 1000 frames-per-second is optimal for most HDTV super slow motion applications. As a result, NAC product development is focused not on increasing image capture speed but rather on the integration of the high speed camera system with the sports broadcast work flow while optimizing camera light sensitivity.

A sneak peak at the fruits of this development effort is available at NAB 2011 in Las Vegas (booth C7241) when NAC introduces the Memrecam Hi-Motion II.

Whether you are a sports fanatic or not, unless you have been living under a rock, you know about the Super Bowl, and have probably watched a few games whether on purpose or by default. It first started in 1967 and is the championship game of each National Football League (NFL) season. It is always played on a Sunday, which is where the name Super Bowl Sunday comes from, in the beginning of the New Year, and usually in February.

Television and football go hand in hand, especially on Super Bowl Sunday. Throughout the season, if you have the NFL Sunday Ticket, you can flip back and forth watching up to 14 football games in one day, all in high definition if you are lucky. Compare this to the 4 games shown on regular cable and any football fan is in heaven come Sunday afternoon.

Super Bowl Sunday is often the most watched program of the year, with an average of 80 to 90 million American viewers at any time. Not only are TVs at home turned to the game, but in bars as well. Even though the day revolves around football, viewers do not only tune in for the game. Due to the high number of viewers, a commercial spot is extremely expensive, and companies usually put a lot of money into creating a new 30-second spot, so there is a lot of pressure. Some people watch the Super Bowl strictly for the commercials. In addition, there is always a halftime show that involves performances by well-known singers and musicians. Lights, special effects, and dancing are all part of the performance. Between the game, the commercials, and the halftime show this is one program where there is no good time to take a bathroom break!

If you thought you were in heaven during the regular season, wait until Super Bowl Sunday. Thanks to HD TV, you will have the best party in town. The program will be shown in crystal clear, bright images, where you can see every detail of the game, the commercials, and the halftime performance. There is no better way to watch the championship game.

A good TV set up is not all that makes a great Super Bowl party. Parties are going on all over the country, and food and drink have become part of the main focus. In fact, it is the second highest food consumption day after Thanksgiving, if you can imagine that. Beer, soda, chips, dips of all sorts, wings, crackers, sandwiches, pizza, desserts… these are just a few of the food items consumed during the day. It is a wonder how people have time to eat in between the game, the commercials, and the halftime show, but apparently it is possible!

To host the best Super Bowl party in town, hook up your satellite TV, turn up the volume, stock up on drinks and food, invite your friends over, and enjoy this unofficial American holiday!

I recently watched the Super Bowl at a friend’s house on his brand new big screen HDTV. It was fun, however, from time to time the signal got choppy. We were at crucial plays and it froze up and then skipped ahead. We switched back to an analog signal for awhile, but it looked so sad after having watched the HD. He had an HD antenna that ran through his computer. The problem could have been easily solved with a small antenna booster. O well, the company was good. But I vowed never to miss the Super Bowl again!

What are the causes of a poor signal and a poor picture on an expensive HD Television? Perhaps you failed to pick up a strong signal because you live too far from a signal tower or there is some obstruction that is hindering your HD antenna from getting a strong signal from the tower. There is, however a solution to that. You can get a HD antenna booster that will enable you to watch your favorite game or even Martha Stewart without the fear of losing the channel.

First, before rushing out to get your new HD antenna booster or HDTV antenna amplifier, you need to know the kind of antenna which you currently have on your television. Here are the basic types of TV antennas and some important words to know.

Just to clarify, there is no big difference between the antennas used for HDTV as well as with the DTV. However, some very sly marketers have made a false difference in order to get their products a higher ranking ahead of their competitors. This marketing ploy has really affected some of the major antenna manufacturers and caused them to have to re-label their products.

Reflector antennas work by the means of reflecting radio waves from a conducting plane. Most reflector antennas are used with the double bow-tie variation since it has such a large bandwidth.

The Dipole TV antenna is the most simple antenna used for the television. Some of the more well-known variations of the dipole antenna include the bow-tie which contains a wider bandwidth, the folded-dipole which seems to solve any problem efficiently, and the loop antenna which is another type of the folded dipole. These all posses the same amount of gain and the same radiation patterns.

As a general rule, a TV antenna should radiate in very few directions. The dipole HD antenna has a positive gain since it does not equally radiate in all directions. In the United States, the TV antennas are normally placed in a horizontal position. That is why no signal can be picked up if the antenna is positioned vertically.

In regards to the HD antenna or HDTV antenna, you need to become familiar with the following terms. Gain refers to the quantity of the signal that the antenna will be collecting. Beam width refers to how the directional the antenna can be. Bandwidth refers to how the gain differs with the frequency. A narrowband antenna can receive more channels clearly while some channels will appear to be unclear.

There is a new and possibly better solution to having an antenna. It is requires outside of the box thinking. It is having a computer dedicated to your television programming. By having a central computer dedicated to your tv programming you can watch TV through your PC. In fact, with current technology, you can even watch live tv on your pc.

HD TV programming is now also possible on your computer. Certain companies specialize in bringing High Definition programming from all over the world directly to your computer screen. Or, if you have a central computer which is dedicated to your household TV programming, then you can have HDTV programming directly to your TV from your PC. Some companies even offer a DVR recorder complimentary just for ordering from them. And, many of these companies offer a One Time Fee instead of a subscription. So if you want to forget about the antenna completely, just try going through your PC.

The kickoff time is estimated to be around 6:20 EST. Why asked Do you have a tight schedule or on a travel? Don’t you miss it you should make it on time because you will not know what you will miss out! And of course the pregame presentation will be fantastic as well.

4) Watch it using Sopcast through a Sopcast provider. There are so many Sopcast programs available in the web and too many providers. If you get lucky you can watch a clear resolution which is a very low probability, but most of the time you will be shoved aside by the other users and you may not have good resolution as there will be pauses and delayed responses from their servers due to poor handling of requests and limited server resources.Chances are you will miss out a lot of things, you can miss the Super Bowl kickoff time and most of the game.

The software technology taps into more than 3,500 TV channels worldwide right over the Internet. Now you can enjoy more channels than your cable and satellite TV.
